Forest of Dean Health Forum

A real influence in making Health and Social Care Services better for People in the Forest of Dean

The Forest Health Forum evolved from Bream Health Forum which was formed in 1987.

Jan Baynham
It is with regret that Jan has decided to leave the Forest of Dean Health Forum committee. Jan and her late husband Frank were the driving force behind the Forum and they both dedicated many years to it. Along with her involvement in other organisations, Jan has made a huge contribution to health and social care in the Forest. Her commitment, experience and knowledge has been invaluable and we will miss her very much. We wish her well and thank her very much for all she has done for the Forum.

The Forum will always be indebted to Mr John Hale MBE. John was a founder member of the Forum and was very instrumental in ensuring that the Forum carried out its aims and was a marvellous ambassador.

Frank Baynham as Secretary and Jan Baynham as Chair carried the Forum through to its present form by their dedication and hard work.

The Forum was greatly saddened by the loss of John and Frank who died in 2013.  Their legacy will live on through the determination of the current members of the Forum to continue their good work.

The Committee is very active and our members attend a wide range of meetings, conferences and events on behalf of the Forum,

Anyone with an interest in Health Service provision in and for the Forest of Dean District is welcome to come along and take part in our informative and influential discussions. Up to date information, agendas and minutes of our meetings are published HERE and Archived HERE
